Hydration…
If you are coming to ski or ride from sea level, you must hydrate. If you are coming up from Denver, it’s just as important. Abstain from alcohol for 1-2 days prior to your visit. If you are drinking when you get up to elevation (the base not the top!), take it easy and alternate each drink with a glass of water. This is easily the best advice I will ever give. Hydration.
not enough of this… another bluebird day with spring conditions today in central Colorado mountains. The changing temps are really affecting snow stability in the backcountry. Be careful out there.
